Court of Appeal for the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI), Government announced yesterday.

He was sworn in as president by Bermuda's former Deputy Governor John Kelly, now Governor of the TCI. He presided over a special sitting of the court the next day, May 19.

Sir James is also president of Bermuda's Court of Appeal -- a position he took up after retiring as Chief Justice.

He will preside over the TCI court when the Bermuda Court of Appeal is not sitting.
