each of whom are responsible for certain product lines, according to Mr. Huw Lewis, managing director of Eurohome Bermuda Limited, the company that manages Eurotile. "Every staff member is involved in sales and we all work together,'' he said. "But each employee is knowledgeable in different areas.'' Eurotile is committed to continuous staff training. It's important to keep employees abreast of the business, said Mr. Lewis. "Everybody has gone overseas for training. And periodically, we have inhouse training seminars -- mostly on product knowledge.'' For instance, Eurotile sells laticrete, which is used to set tile. Since tile is installed in so many different places, it involves a lot of expertise, said Mr. Lewis. "It's important that we pick the correct materials. And as suppliers, we advise installers on the right materials to use for a particular job,'' he noted, adding that Eurotile does have an inhouse factory-trained installer who, although self-employed, works solely for the company. "We're constantly updating our product knowledge -- we're very committed to that,'' said Mr. Lewis.
