Described as "a phenomenon in the world of music,'' Mr. Olivera is regarded not only an incredible entertainer with a unique style, but also a superb showman renowned for his humour and ability to entrance an audience.

Mr. Olivera is a popular performer all over the world, and many of his standing-room only concerts have been before heads of state. Among the prestigious locations at which he has appeared are New York's Carnegie Hall, where he drew the largest audience ever to attend an organ concert, He has given recitals at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, London's Royal Albert Hall, the New York World's Fair, and Constitution Hall in Washington, DC.

He has released more than 20 recordings ranging from classical to contemporary and film scores, and is known for his very personal musical interpretations.

Mr. Olivera began serious organ and harmony studies at the Buenos Aires Conservatory at age six, and by age 18 had given some 300 concerts in Latin America, in addition to making television and radio appearances. He went on to study at the prestigious Juilliard School of Music in New York, and at age 21 won the Improvisation contest sponsored by the American Guild of Organists.
