Rotherham United last night when his 19th minute goal gave them a 1-0 win over Premier League team Everton and provided the night's biggest upset in the first leg of second round League Cup matches.

Mr. Goater has earned praise in both the electronic and print media in England. One reporter described how Goater "threatened to run riot'' against Everton. The second leg will be held at Everton in two weeks' time.

The 21-year-old striker is his team's top scorer with six goals and because of his early season success has put off signing a new contract with the club in the hopes of attracting interest from clubs in the top division.
