The ship was operating at capacity, carrying 1665 passengers, or about 70 more passengers than normal, he said.

Mr. Simas also said the Dreamward arrived in Bermuda on Monday just before 9 a.m.

It will be there until tomorrow when it returns to Boston.

The Song of America meanwhile pulled into St. George's on Tuesday with 1504 passengers and shifted to Hamilton yesterday morning. She departs for New York tomorrow afternoon.

The Bermuda Islander arrived on Monday at 8 a.m. carrying 116 containers, two which were reefers, along with two boats. It sailed on Tuesday.

The Somers Isle made its usual stopover as well, docking in Hamilton to drop off 73 containers, 12 which were refrigerated, along with two boats and one jeep. It is scheduled to sail today.

Thje Oleander sailed into Hamilton on Sunday said Container Ship Management's Glennis Dickinson, dropping off 178 containers, including 38 reefers, one utility vehicle, four cars, one jet boat and trailer, two live horses, and numerous jet skiis. Oleander sailed out on Tuesday bound for Port Elizabeth, New Jersey.

The car-carrier, Coral Highway , arrived in Hamilton on Sunday from Haiti with a shipment of 67 cars and 29 cases of spare parts. It sailed two hours later bound for Nassau, Bahamas.
