The Index closed at 1075.67 on volume of 8,435 shares worth $154,473.

The biggest gainer of the day was Telco, which rose $1 to $38 on volume of 2,418 shares while Bank of Butterfield moved up 37.5 cents to close at $12.125 on volume of 960.

Hemisphere Group moved up 25 cents to $6 on volume of 100.

The gains offset a 37.5 cent fall in Bank of Bermuda shares which closed at $19.50 on volume of 1957. Bermuda Broadcasting was unchanged at $5.50 on volume of 1,000.
