The advance was effected by the closing price of the Bank of Bermuda, up a dollar to $26.25 after 1,000 shares changed hands.

Only two other issues traded for the day, including Bermuda Commercial Bank Warrants `01, which closed unchanged at 75 cents on a volume of 4,765.

Also closing unchanged after limited activity was BELCO Holdings, which remained at $21.75 after trading of 345 shares.
