Ten thousand shares changed hands in BF&M while three other issues also lost value. The Exchange Index closed down 12.72 at 1115.83.

Argus Insurance shares lost 12.5 cents to close at $11.75 on volume of 2000 shares.

Bank of Bermuda shares fell 25 cents to close at $19.75 on volume of 1192 shares. Bank of Butterfield shares fell 20 cents on volume of 300 to close at $31.

Trading unchanged were: Bank of Bermuda 9% notes, $107.50 on volume of 5600 units; Commercial Bank, $10, 200; BFCL, $8.50, 400.
