The All Star Folk Ceilidh Band supplies the music, in their second annual appearance, and Mr. Gordon Ness will call the dances.
A spokesperson said: "The caller makes even non-Scots look good as he directs the action and keeps things moving at the desired, energetic pace.'' A meal of chilli and French bread is included in the ticket price of $7 for members and $10 for non-members.
Tickets are available from Opus One on Reid Street, and the show begins at the Mariner's at 7.30 p.m.
For those who do not know, a ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) is an informal gathering for singing and dancing, especially in Scotland and Ireland.
