Seabourn, which bought the 200-passenger all-suite Queen Odyssey in February, will re-name her Seabourn Legend at the New York cruise terminal before she embarks on her inaugural cruise to Canada and then Bermuda. The award-winning cruise line, regarded by passengers and industry experts as the most celebrated in the world was founded in 1987 by Atle Brynestad and is jointly owned by the businessman and Carnival Corp. The addition of the Seabourn Legend brings the ultra-luxury cruise line's fleet to three, along with the Pride and the Spirit . The three are sister ships, each 439-feet in length.

The following day, next Tuesday, Seabourn Legend embarks on her inaugural New England-Canada cruise. She is expected in Bermuda later in the year. The ship has been operated by the dismantled Royal Cruise Line and the old Royal Viking Line until 1994.
