And a walk-in thief took cash from a handbag of an employee at the Living Centre, Church Street, on Tuesday afternoon. The complainant said a male had entered the store at the time of the theft. Thieves stole a sewing machine, handbag containing personal items from a white Suburu car parked on Union Street, Hamilton on Tuesday. The front passenger window was smashed in the raid.
