Bank of Bermuda gained 12.5 cents to close at $18.875 on volume of 2,000 while Bermuda Home preferred gained 12.5 cents to close at $12.25 on volume of 161.

Trading unchanged were: Bermuda Home, $10, 608 shares; Belco, $20, 2,436; and Belco 7% 1st. mort. nts. 1998, $101, 150 units.

Share volume was 5,202 with a value of $94,522.25. Total value of trading was $109,672.25.

The exchange index closed up 2.76 points or .26 percent at 1,046.78.
