The hearing, closed to the Press, was set up by Home Affairs Minister Paula Cox after Precision Somers Construction and the Bermuda Industrial Union could not settle the strike at the Pembroke site in September. The BIU are represented by their former leader Ottiwell Simmons MP while Precision Somers are represented by former Solicitor General Barry Meade. Arlene Brock is chairing the hearing which will be binding.
