After a bulk sale of 70,370 of its shares at $42 the previous day, the Bank of Bermuda's stock slipped back to $40, with a volume of 700.
Devonshire Industries stock was another big faller, going down by by $21 to $8, with a volume of 301. BF&M's nine percent preference shares also fell, by 75 cents. to $111 , with a volume of 1,000.
Going up for the second day running, after returning from suspension, was Bermuda Commercial Bank stock which increased by $1 to close at $8, with a volume of 1,000.
The biggest increase of the day was in Belco's seven percent 1988 notes, which went up by $21 to $953 , with a volume of 6,000.
In the day's only other trade, Bank of Butterfield shares remained unchanged at $241 , with a volume of 1,318.
