HAMILTON -- The Bermuda Stock Exchange lost 1.24 percent, or 21.25 points, yesterday to end the day at 1,687 on a volume of 37,356 shares.

Shares in the Bank of Bermuda lost 50 cents yesterday to close at $36, while the Bank of Butterfield was also down 25 cents to $16. KeyTech, the parent company of BTC and Logic Communications, lost $2.25 to end the day at $30.25.
Only two issues gained on the exchange yesterday. BF&M shares were up 50 cents to $5.50 and BELCO rose fifteen cents to end at $19.65.
