DOCKSIDERS In shipping news, Meyer Agencies reported the Bermuda Islander arrived at 8 a.m. on Tuesday from Salem, New Jersey with 101 containers,
It left the Island that afternoon at 4.15 p.m.
Container Ship Management said the Oleander also arrived on schedule at 5 p.m.
on Sunday from Port Elizabeth, New Jersey.
It carried 136 containers, including 37 refrigerated, five trailers of structured steel, and one forty foot mafi.
The ship left local waters on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
In other shipping news, Meyer reported that it expects a tug, the Steven Bugser this afternoon for repairs.
The ship, which was on its way from Jacksonville, Florida to Europe, will dock in St. George's, and is expected to leave on Friday.
RCC/Bermuda Harbour Radio reported a US Navy submarine stopped to land a sick crewman on Monday.
Both Harnett and Richardson Ltd., and John S. Darrell Ltd. reported no activity this week.
