accident on Crawl Hill on Tuesday.

The man suffered head injuries and a badly broken leg in the accident which occurred at 3.55 p.m.

The man reportedly pushed his pedal cycle into the path of an oncoming Peugeot motorcar.

He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he remains in the intensive care unit. No one else was injured.

The pedal bike was completely destroyed and the Peugeot car sustained extensive damage to its front.
