yesterday after the court heard he did it over a ten dollar debt.

Robert Ronald Dillas of Parson's Road applied what Acting Senior Magistrate Edward King called "self-help justice'' to his nephew's car.

"I did apologise.'' Dillas told Mr. King.

On February 18, Dillas' nephew parked his car on Court Street at 4.45 p.m.

before entering Spinning Wheel nightclub.

Dillas approached him and asked him about the ten dollars he owed him for work he had done.

The nephew said he was waiting for a cheque to clear and entered the club.

He later heard that someone was beating his car and saw Dillas run away.

"He had told me the same thing for three weeks.'' Dillas told Mr. King.
