following a head-on motorcycle collision.

A hospital spokesperson last night said he was in stable condition.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the accident, which took place at around 8:20 p.m. Monday night on Beacon Hill Road, Sandys, to come forward.

Police believe the cycles were travelling around a bend in opposite directions when they collided head-on.

The 17-year-old man was a passenger on the south-bound cycle. He was thrown onto the road and sustained serious internal injuries.

The two drivers of the bikes, a 16-year-old male and a 28-year-old female, were also taken to hospital with facial injuries and cuts to their arms and legs.
