The man, who appeared in Magistrates' Court, admitted to touching his daughter with his penis and inserting his finger into her vagina.

The offences occurred between October 15 and November 15 last year.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis handed down the sentence after reviewing a social inquiry report and a psychiatric report carried out on the man who was not represented in court yesterday.
