BIBA promotion announced
marketing manager, Mrs. Wendy Davis Johnson, has been appointed executive director.
Mrs. Davis Johnson joined BIBA in October 1993.
"Given the growth that BIBA has experienced over the past two years, and if BIBA is to accomplish the objectives laid out in the mission statement, an executive director is needed to manage and co-ordinate the administrative needs of the organisation on a daily basis,'' said BIBA chairman Mr. Cummings Zuill.
"Mrs. Davis Johnson has been working closely with BIBA's committees as well as with many of the groups with which BIBA liaises. Her appointment to the position of executive director seems a natural part of the association's evolution.'' In addition to managerial responsibilities, Mrs. Davis Johnson will continue to oversee the overseas and local marketing programmes.
BIBA is an association of 44 Bermuda companies representing the Island's banks, law and accounting firms.
