market the "Millennium Peace Coin'' this month, a limited edition precious coin conceived by Liberty Mint Ltd. and the New Anaconda Company.

The minting of the coin was announced earlier this week by company presidents, who will offer the Peace Coin via a Bermuda-based electronic commerce site.

The one-ounce coin is to be offered in sterling silver and gold bullion, and was designed at Great Western Mint -- a subsidiary of Liberty. Chemical engineers New Anaconda develop new technologies for precious metals mining.

Liberty Mint has produced commemorative coins, generally for businesses and institutions, since 1984.
