AN ALL-FAMILY AFFAIR

Bermuda's first automated drive-through car wash is now open for business, with the owner claiming the new business is "running like a charm".

The Bulls Head Car Wash, which is immediately behind World Distributors in Hamilton, has taken just over a year to build and is the brainchild of the Rivieres, the former proprietors of the Wok Restaurant.

The venture is to be an all-family affair, with Art Riviere's wife Sharon and two daughters Danielle and Denise all pitching in ? despite a range of other commitments.

Mrs. Riviere runs her own charitable organisation called Big G, while Danielle is a substitute teacher and Denise has her own consulting business, OD Solutions.

"Everything has been fairly busy so far," Mr. Riviere said.

"My daughters are helping me out despite having other jobs, which I am very grateful for. But all things seem to be going to plan."

The car wash will be open from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Three different wash packages are on offer, ranging from the "Basic" at a cost of $25 to "The Works" at $45 ? with the latter providing a thorough clean of a car both inside and out.
