Plans to develop the site on Richmond Road have been held up following a meeting this week.

Club manager Mr. Gerry Lyons said outline planning permission to develop the site had been approved in principle. He added there had been inquiries about building an office block on the site from more than one developer.

But the meeting decided to hold off any building plans and improve the residential quarters which can currently accommodate six sailors.
