Rogers continues to elude Police
Rogers continued to come up empty handed yesterday.
Police said the search is being aided by several sightings from concerned members of the public and is not limited to eastern parishes. Rogers escaped earlier this week while in Police custody in St. George's.
Also aiding in the search is a local drug detection dog who is trained to track an bring down criminals.
Police would also like to remind motorists that Police vehicles responding to alleged sightings will be using a silent approach, meaning emergency lights will be flashing but there will be no siren.
Police have urged all motorists to be vigilant for Police vehicles, which may be travelling at high speed, and to pull over to the side of the road as soon as possible to allow them access.
Members of the public have also been thanked for their cooperation thus far and Police have asked them to continue to submit information on Rogers' whereabouts to either Eastern Division on 292-1122 or to the Crime Stoppers Hot line on 1-(800)-623-8477.
