Twenty-year-old Emanuel Tilus, of New Jersey, is helping Police in their investigation of an offence which is alleged to have taken place on July 22.

Tilus is alleged to have brought eight .380 calibre Winchester live bullets into Bermuda. He was arrested at Bermuda International Airport by Police after he arrived on the 12.45 p.m. Continental Airlines flight.

Magistrate Edward King granted bail in the sum of $1,000 with a like surety to Tilus who pleaded not guilty to the offence.

Mr. King also ordered Tilus to return to court on August 2.
