BFA SET TO NAME COACHES SOC BFA set to name coaches The Bermuda Football Association is expected to announce early next week just who has been chosen to lead the rebirth of the game on the Island. The association has all but finalised the list of coaches it has been seeking for the national programme and an announcement is expected either on Monday or Tuesday.
As has always been stipulated by coaching committee chairman Jon Beard, the appointees will form part of a central pool, with a technical director being brought in at a later date to oversee the operation.
The pressure to appoint someone to head up the national team waned this week, following the BFA's decision to pull out of the Copa Carib tournament -- a move that came as a result of hosts Antigua bringing the date of competition forward.
