The evening, which promises to be filled with laughs, is being organised by Bootsie's Comedy Grip.

And the show will feature New York ventriloquist Pete Michaels and his dummy Woody D, who are making a return visit to the Island by popular demand.

"Pete Michaels deals a lot with life and certain things he encounters,'' show MC Mr. Erwin (Bootsie) Wolffe said.

He added: "He bases material around audiences and his own life-style and he uses the dummy, who is black, to express his view about life as a black person. He's just hilarious.'' Pete Michaels and Woody D have appeared on HBO's Def Comedy Jam, Showtime at the Apollo, and the hit television show The Jeffersons Sunday's comedy night will also showcase the talents of three local comedians Mr. Butch Minors, Capt. Eddie Lamb and Mr. Denton Gibbons.

Also featured will be local vocalists including reggae/rap artist Jr. C.

Bootsie said: "The show will be hilarious, so come out and have a good time.'' Tickets for the 9 p.m. show can be purchased for $20 at the 27th Century Boutique or from Bootsie at 297-0051.

Bootsie's next show will be on December 4 featuring the old singing group Chi-Lites with their hit song "Have You Seen Her''.
