and fined $800 for speeding at 78 kph.

Richard Allen, 32, of Palmetto Road, was caught on Glebe Road, Pembroke, on February 19.

Magistrate Archibald Warner heard Allen, who admitted the charge, had previous convictions for speeding.

In other cases: Horst Abel, 35, of Tribe Road Number 6, Southampton, was banned from driving all vehicles for a year and fined $500 after he pleaded guilty to driving on Middle Road, Southampton, on March 6 while disqualified.

Omar Smith, 18, of Daisy Field Drive, Sandys Parish, was fined $215 when he pleaded guilty to driving at 58 kph on South Road, on March 15.

Gizell Lightbourne, 23, of Tamarind Vale, Warwick, pleaded guilty to speeding at 64 kph on South Road on February 6 and was fined $300.

Vincent Minors, of Boundary Crescent, Devonshire, was fined $240 after admitting driving at 62 kph on South Road, Paget.

Joseph Botelho, 41, of South View Road, Sandys, will stand trial on Aptil 26 after pleading not guilty to wounding Roger Smith on December 29.
