The Island has been invited, for the first time, to send a team to the finals of the festival in Curacao.

The search for a local entrants is expected to attract 2,000 spectators to Dockyard on Monday.

The local contest, organised by the Bermuda Broadcasting Company, starts at 6 p.m. in the Victualling Yard and should be over by 10 p.m. Tickets cost $12 at the door.
