Dentist's son is called to the bar
before Chief Justice the Hon. Sir James Astwood following a congratulatory speech by lawyer Mr. Julian Hall MP.
Proud parents Dr. and Mrs. Nigel Chudleigh were in the same court three years previously when their daughter Louise, a barrister in London, was called to the Bar.
Mr. Chudleigh is currently working in the Chambers of David Barnard in London where he practices both criminal and civil law.
"I hope to gain as much experience in litigation and court practice as possible,'' Mr. Chudleigh said.
The 26-year-old said that one day he would like to return to Bermuda to put that experience to use.
Mr. Chudleigh was educated at Saltus Grammar School and then in England at Millfield secondary school in Somerset.
He achieved his law degree at the University of Kent, sat his bar exams in London and did his pupilage in the Chambers of Michael Burton, QC.
