Mr. Jermaine Pitcher, of St. George's, was overtaking a public bus on a right hand bend when another bus came around the corner in the opposite direction.
He was squashed between the two as they passed, just a few feet apart, and suffered a serious foot injury.
Mr. Pitcher was taken to the King Edward VII Hospital where he is recovering today. His condition was described as stable.
The accident happened at about 6.30 p.m. on Wednesday on North Shore Road, near the Railway Trail. Police sealed off the road for about an hour, diverting the traffic until the scene was clear.
Mr. Pitcher's bike was only slightly damaged and one bus was also just slightly damaged.
