Prosecutor Cindy Clarke said that Police officers noticed Adderley's breath smelled of alcohol and that his eyes were red during a routine check on Front Street at 10:40 p.m. on March 22.
Thirty-one year old Adderley, of Paget, apologised to the court and said it would not happen again.
"I would like to apologise for wasting the court's time,'' he said, "and for the embarrassment I have caused my family.''
