Man victim of armed robbery A 53-year-old Pembroke man became the latest victim of a robbery in his own home.

The man told Police he was in his bedroom shortly after midnight when he heard a noise downstairs.When he went to investigate the noise, he was confronted by a man brandishing a machete.

The victim was not injured, Police said, but he was "extremely shaken'' by the ordeal.
