Commenting on the gain BSX chief operating officer Greg Wojciechowski said the upward trend in the exchange index indicates a renewed investor interest in local stocks. He said the gain might also be attributed to spill over effects of the records being attained in the US stock markets. The exchange index broke through the 1000 point earlier in the week. It was last over the 1000 mark June 10 last year.
