Forecasters say the Category One storm is not a threat to Bermuda at this time.Currently its projected closest point of approach is 515 nautical miles south southwest of Bermuda on Sunday afternoon.

Currently its projected closest point of approach is 515 nautical miles south southwest of Bermuda on Sunday afternoon. But seas outside the reef are expected to increase to between eight to 14 feet high by Monday.
Early last night Floyd was located at latitude 20.5 degrees North and longitude 60 degrees West, some 755 NM SSE of us and moving northwest at 10 knots. Floyd had winds of 70 knots with gusts of 85 knots.
The Governments of Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, Dutch St. Maarten, French St. Martin and St. Barthelemy have all issued tropical storm watches.
