Bascome for operating the food concession at Tobacco Bay, on the Island's east end for more than 20 years.

Mr. Bascome -- who ran against Mr. Robinson as an independent candidate in St.

George's North after splitting from the Progressive Labour Party -- lost the concession earlier this year.

Mr. Robinson also went on to congratulate the new concession owner Kirk Bartrum who he described as a forward thinking and successful businessman.

Mr. Bartrum is a taxi operator and co-owner of the 27th Century Boutique clothing store and Hair Studio in Pembroke with his wife.
