Catholics is due to take place at St. Patrick Parish Hall on Saturday, June 11.

A The "Keeping Your Kids Catholic'' workshop will be presented by Mr. Bert Ghezzi of Winter Park, Florida.

Mr. Ghezzi, who works for a large international management consulting firm, is a regular columnist in "Catholic Parent'' magazine and author of nine books, including "Facing Your Feelings'' and "Keeping Your Kids Catholic''.

A father of seven, he designed the workshops as a practical approach for parents wishing to pass on the Catholic faith to their children.

The all-day workshop, starting at 11 a.m., will consist of a series of presentations, personal meditation, discussion and prayer, offering parents help on how to incorporate their faith into their families' lives.

A non-profit venture, "The Keeping Your Kids Catholic'' workshop is brought to Bermuda by Ms Cathy Marshall, owner and manager of Catholic Christian bookshop, Gifts of Peace. "We decided to introduce the workshop to help stimulate Bermuda's Catholic youth, especially as this year is the Year of the Family,'' she said.

Ms Marshall is hoping up to 100 parents will attend next Saturday. Although the workshop is free, donations are invited to cover costs. Lunch will be provided.
