Canadian newspaper reported yesterday.

Mr. Minors. who is involved in a major Bermuda conference later this year, launched an action against the newspaper claiming it had printed 28 libelous stories during a six-week period in 1994.

However Mr. Justice Nicholson McRae, of Ontario Court general division, dismissed the case.

Among the alleged libels were comments that the Toronto Sun attributed to Mr.

Minors suggesting that the Holocaust was not a racist act.

He also sued over reported remarks comparing Metro Police to an "occupying army'' made while he was a member of the Metro Toronto Police Services Board.

Mr. Minors was quoted as making the comparison in trying to explain why the black community was not helping Police investigate a murder.
