left a man in hospital with serious injuries and another facing impaired driving charges.

Police are appealing to anyone with information about the 1.30 a.m., two-cycle accident on South Road, Paget, to call Hamilton Police Station.

The collision occurred as a 39-year-old Devonshire man was heading East on Rural Hill, approaching the South Roundabout, and an 18-year-old Warwick man was travelling in the opposite direction.

Both men were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The Warwick man was arrested on suspicion of impaired riding and was later tested and failed a breath analysis. He was later released on bail.

The Devonshire man is in stable condition in the hospital's intensive care unit with skull and facial fractures.
