The group has a Bermuda-based subsidiary operating on the Island.

The rating comes after the announcement of the company's global reorganisation. Odyssey Re is owned by Farfax Financial Holdings. Odyssey Re (London) is now in runoff.

A.M. Best said the rating recognises the group's increased global preasence, improved earnings potential and solid overall capitalisation.
