The Bank of Butterfield's shares closed at $305 , on a weekly volume of 74,248. Bermuda Commercial Bank's shares closed the week at $9.50, on a weekly volume of 1,200.

BFCL's stock closed at $8, on a weekly volume of 1,263. Long Botham Boats Company, which last week won the Horseshoe Bay concession rights, closed at $7.75, on a weekly volume of 1,000.

Masters closed at $7 on a weekly volume of 1,500. BF&M closed at $7 on a weekly volume of 21,778. And BF&M nine percent convertible preference stock closed at $9.75 on a weekly volume of 344.

Bermuda Press closed at $5 on a weekly volume of 979. Belco closed at $187 on a weekly volume of 4,409. Telco closed at $33.50 on a weekly volume of 6,789.

The Bank of Bermuda's nine percent notes closed at $1073 on a volume of 55,000.

The Index closed at 1,059.26 -- down 18.20 points.

During the week ending January 28, shares worth $3.1 million, and bonds worth $58,806.25, were traded.

FRIDAY UPDATE STK Telco's stock gained 50 cents on the Bermuda Stock Exchange to close at $33.50 on a volume of 5,000.

The Bank of Bermuda's stock closed at $19, on a volume of 1,005 -- down .875 cents. The Bank of Butterfield's stock traded unchanged, closing at $30.5 , on a volume of 450.

BFCL stock fell 50 cents to close at $8 on a volume of 1,263. Belco's shares slipped .125 cents to close at $187 on a volume of 3,489.
