The Bermuda Stock Exchange bolted up 41.40 points or 4.04 percent last week to close at 1,037.93.

Bank of Bermuda gained $1 to close at $19 on volume of 8,133 while Bank of Butterfield closed up 75 cents at $11.50 on volume of 7,500.

Belco gained 50 cents to close at $19 on volume of 450 while Telco gained 50 cents to close at $36 on volume of 560. Argus lost 37.5 cents to close at $10.625 on volume of 200.

Issues trading unchanged were; Bermuda Home, $7.50, 259, BF&M, $6.75, 1,275, BF&M preferred, $9.625, 500, and 10,000 units of Bank of Bermuda 9% Sub. US$ Cap. Nts 2001 closed unchanged at 102.125.

Bond volume was 10,000 units with a value of $97,961. Share volume was 18,857 plus 6,250 Bermuda Commercial Bank rights.

Total value of share trading was $304,644. Total value of trading was $402,605.
