Hundreds of pensioners enjoyed a tea party hosted by Premier Jennifer Smith.

Today, the official opening takes place at CedarBridge Academy and special buses have been laid on to transport seniors to the event. An "old fashioned games'' day takes place at North Village Field tomorrow, and a jazz concert will be held at Victoria Park on Wednesday afternoon. Friday will see a seniors' picnic at Shelly Bay, and the week culminates in a gala at Westmeath on Saturday.
