Aslo gaining were BF&M, up 50 cents to $7 on volume of 7,810, the Bank of Bermuda which gained 25 cents to close at $19 on volume of 3,070 and Bank of Bermuda 9% sub. cap. nts. 2001, 25 cents to 102.25 on volume of 80 units with a value of $8,180.

Bermuda Home closed down 50 cents at $9.50 on volume of 1,166.

Bermuda Container Line fell 50 cents at $4 on volume of 900.

Also falling were: Hemisphere, down 37.5 to $6.75 on volume of 200; Bank of Butterfield, off 12.5 cents to $11.50, 24,498 shares; Bermuda Commercial Bank, down 12.5 cents to $5.125, 2,000 shares; Belco, 12.5 cents to $19.875, 8,000.

Trading unchanged were; Bermuda Home preferred, $12.25, 1,667, BSL, $6, 965 and Bermuda Aviation Services, $3, 1,700.
