Exchange, worth more than $3.6 million, as the index finished the business week more than 45 points higher, with advancers leading decliners seven to two.

The most significant activity came from the Bank of Butterfield where more than 140,000 shares traded and the price gained 7.2 percent, closing up $1.125 at $15.625.

The Bank of Bermuda saw nearly 40,000 shares change hands, as the stock gained 50 cents.
