The male complainant said he was at the Beach on Front Street, around 10.40 p.m. when he was struck in the forehead by another man, allegedly for accidentally stepping on his foot earlier in the evening.

The assailant reportedly left the scene immediately following the incident.

The victim received treatment for five lacerations to his forehead and was subsequently released.
