Southampton -- the second in four days.

The 29-year-old woman was walking west on Middle Road, Warwick, near the Warwick Lanes and headed toward her Southampton home when she accepted a ride from a male motorcyclist.

The incident occurred between 3.45 and 4 a.m.

She got concerned when the man did not follow directions and she jumped off the bike in Southampton near the Jehovah Witness' Heron Bay Congregation's church building.

The woman continued walking until she was grabbed from behind, dragged into nearby bushes and sexually assaulted.

After her ordeal the woman waited for a while and began walking again and was seen by an off-duty Police officer who summoned help.

Anyone who may have seen the woman walking on Middle Road Warwick or Southampton is asked to contact Ch. Insp. Carlton Adams at 295-0011.

Meanwhile investigators are searching for the man who kicked and seriously sexually assaulted a teenager on Tuesday evening on the Railway Trail in Southampton.

Motorists were on the losing end this weekend as thieves struck two private cars and one taxi in thefts.

A gold and silver ladies Rolex watch, a Mary bead gold necklace, and Canadian and Bermuda currency was stolen from a private car parked on Parliament Street in Hamilton yesterday.

The vehicle had been parked by its female owner who returned to it around 1 p.m. to find her black leather knapsack had been pilfered from the floor in front of the front passenger seat.

A Hamilton Parish man awoke Saturday morning to find a quantity of cash and a pack of cigarettes had been stolen from his car overnight.

And a taxi driver lost a small quantity of cash and other personal items when he left a bank bag in his business on Addendum Lane, Pembroke on Saturday night.

The thief broke one of the side windows of the taxi.
