The BSE lost 24.87 points or 2.42 percent to close at 988.58 last week.
Bank of Bermuda closed down 75 cents at $17.50 on volume of 13,844 while Bank of Butterfield lost 37.5 cents to close at $10.50 on volume of 16,753.
Telco lost 50 cents to close at $35.50 on volume of 4,561.
Bermuda Container Line rose $2.125 to close at $4.625 on volume of 500. Bank of Bermuda warrants rose 25 cents to close at $3.25 on volume of 1,000.
Bermuda Press Holdings gained 12.5 cents to close at $8 on volume of 7,731.
Issues trading unchanged were; Bermuda Commercial Bank, $10, 2,850, Bermuda Home, $7.50, 2,240, Bermuda Home preferred, $11.75, 452, Bermuda Bakery, $18.50, 289, Hemisphere Group, $6.25, 1,445, Argus, $11, 1,134, BF&M, $6.75, 14,610, BF&M preferred, $9.625, 1,210, Belco, $19.50, 10,000, and 14,000 units of Bank of Bermuda 9% Sub. US$ Cap. Nts 2001, traded unchanged at $102.50.
Share volume for the week was 80,119 with a value of $1,035,121. Bond value was $14,350 with total value of trading $1,049,471.
