The Bermuda Stock Exchange finished the week 17.37 points down from last week, closing at 1,162.75, with a significant change in ownership of Island Press
week.
The Bank of Bermuda led bank trading for the week with a movement of 9,645, as they prepare to issue a second dividend of the year of 20 cents a share.
The Bank of Butterfield, with a trade volume this week of 2,273, is also issuing its second dividend of the year on April 15. The latest, however, will be for 30 cents a share, a nickel better than the first dividend earlier this year.
Bermuda Computer Services Ltd.'s dividend matches the 20 cents paid out earlier in the year and Argus, who paid out a 12 cent dividend earlier, will match that this month. In trading of Argus stock this week, 17,861 shares changed hands.
BF&M Ltd. pays out its second dividend of the year of ten cents a share.
The Bermuda Telephone Company Ltd. pays out its second 50-cent a share dividend this year. There were 8,655 shares of the company traded this week.
